Millions of individuals suffer from allergies. You
can visit any local pharmacy and observe numerous products that
specialize in providing allergy relief. However, these products fail to
actually "cure" allergies. These products are designed to provide
temporary relief to the symptoms that allergy sufferer's experience. In
order to effectively resolve allergies, one must understand what causes
the complications that they experience. These are often referred to as
"allergy triggers". While, in many cases, it is obvious as to what the
trigger is in a particular allergy, there are many cases when this is
rather challenging. Here, we will explore the issue of common allergen
triggers.
The body is a unique machine that works the entire
lifetime attempting to optimize an individual's health. When "foreign"
bodies invade the body, or when the body interprets an object as
"foreign", it will do everything possible in order to eliminate that
particular object. As the severity of this reaction increase, so does
the severity of the allergies in which one may suffer. As you may have
guessed, these objects are the "triggers" that you hear so much about.
In a nutshell, it all boils down to a severe and intense reaction by
the body to gang up on the object that is considered a threat and
eliminate it just as quickly as possible.
Once an individual is
able to identify the common causes of their allergy symptoms, it is
possible to then attempt to resolve the health problems that occur as a
result of them. There are many ways that this task may be accomplished.
However, one of the most common strategies for tracking what may or may
not be causing allergies is to keep a journal, or log. This particular
journal should identify certain foods that are consumed, environmental
conditions that one is exposed to, and even chemicals and other
products that an individual is exposed to.
It is important to
keep in mind, though, that allergens are not always this easy to
pinpoint. Many individuals go a lifetime only to discover that they
really have no idea what may be leading to the symptoms and
complications that are being experienced. I have compiled a list of
potential allergy triggers that may prove to be exceptionally
troublesome to an individual. If you suffer from any type of allergy -
whether mild or severe - you should consider some of the many
possibilities listed below. You may be able to find something that you
can eliminate in your diet, or environment that can help you in the
area of relief.
1. It is a known fact that a number of people
suffer from allergies that are directly related to the foods that they
consume. There are many types of foods that are quite common when it
comes to allergic reactions. These include shell fish such as shrimp,
eggs, milk products, nuts, fish, and other types of foods. It is
important to know and understand that allergies may simply occur out of
no where when it comes to foods. One week, you may be able to down a
plate of shrimp, and the next week, it may result in an allergic
reaction. Our bodies constantly change, and although this is not a
normal situation, it has been known to occur.
2. The next type of
item that can result in allergy symptoms include those that are in your
environment, and considered to be "airborne". This may include
environmental pollution, debris that enters the air from the place that
you are employed or from the plants in your yard, dander from pets,
dust mites, molds, mildews, and various types of bacterium.
3. If
you are bitten or stung by an insect, ingest certain medications, and
are exposed to certain chemicals, you may be subjected to the most
common symptoms that occur with allergies.
In conclusion, allergy
triggers are what cause our bodies to respond in the way that they do
when exposed. There are many different potential triggers that can lead
to the onset of symptoms. If you are able to identify these triggers,
it is quite likely that you will be able to effectively control
allergies.
